The Audubon Nature Store (ANS) offers a wide variety of fun and educational gifts for nature lovers young and old. The relaxing sound of falling water and the beautiful natural displays will make the Audubon Nature Store your favorite one-stop gift shop. The Audubon Nature Store also features a wide variety of birding merchandise: birdseed (including our famous "Beechwood Blend"), feeders and accessories, nest boxes and binoculars. All types of wild bird seed are available throughout the year at ANS. Don't forget to try Beechwood Blend, our best-selling bird seed created specifically to attract a wide variety of birds in our area. We also have oil and stripe sunflower, thistle (nyjer) and safflower seeds as well as suet, corn cobs and seedcakes. Tired of cleaning up bird seed shells? We carry sunflower chips and patio mix, two formulas with no hulls and no mess! Worried about squirrels running off with your suet? We have suet squares with hot pepper - squirrels avoid it, but birds eat it up! Need advice on the right feeders and seeds? Just contact us or stop in the store and we will be happy to assist you. No matter what your bird seed requirements, we can help you create a feeding oasis for your favorite local birds.
Bird feeders are our business! We carry Duncraft,
Droll Yankee, Heritage Farms, Hyde, Varicraft and Perky Pet
brands, to name a few. Our selection of bird feeders is designed
to meet diverse feeding needs. We have pole, deck, platform and
hanging feeders, which will hold a variety of different seeds and
suet. We also provide a number of different hummingbird feeders
for the spring and summer months. Bird baths, bird bath heaters,
squirrel baffles, seed scoops, poles and many other accessories
are available to make your bird feeding station complete. If you
don't see what you want, please ask.
With Bushnell and Bausch & Lomb binoculars
ranging from $25 basic models to the high-end Elite line, we can
outfit anyone - from a football fan, to a novice birder to the
advanced birder deciphering fall warblers- with the appropriate
pair of binoculars. We also carry spotting scopes.
We carry Woodlink nest boxes for Screech Owls,
Chickadees, Flickers, Eastern Bluebirds, and even Bats. Winter
roosting and butterfly hibernation boxes are also available, as
well as books which specify the nesting requirements of different

Of course, we have bird guides. For the local birder, we
recommend Birding in Western Pennsylvania, an
exclusive ASWP publication, which describes the birding hot spots
in our area with maps, trail guides, directions and checklists.

guides for the inquisitive, who want to identify constellations,

reptiles and amphibians or insects. We carry landscaping,
gardening and herb books for those with a green thumb. We also
carry books which look at specific birds, mammals, etc. in
greater detail for people who just can't learn enough about their
favorite plants and animals. If you can't find the book you are

Smithsonian Soundprints
books and stuffed animal combinations are a favorite of children
