Wilderness Survival Merit Badge/Outdoor Survival Winter Format

SC - Saturday, February 25, 9:00 am—4:00 pm Register
You thought summer survival was hard—ASWP is turning down the heat in this special winter edition of wilderness survival!  Wilderness Survival Merit Badge and Outdoor Survival Interest Projects are fun, easy, and can be earned in one day.  This program is designed for Boy Scouts/Eagle Scout candidates and Cadette/Senior Girl Scouts.

$20 per person—payment is due at registration and includes materials, supplies, and lunch.

Maple Sugaring for Scouts

BFNR- Saturday, March 10, 10:00 am—12:00 pm

Experience science and history as you discover the maple sugaring process.  Learn about maple tree physiology, and compare production methods used by Native Americans, pioneers and modern industry.  This program is open to all scouts, leaders and parents. 

$6 per person—payment is due at time of registration.


Spring Scout Badge Day and Planet Party

BFNR – Saturday, April 28, 10:00 am—noon or 1:00pm—3:00 pm

SC – Saturday, April 21, 10:00 am—noon or 1:00pm—3:00 pm

Troops can fulfill requirements towards nature-related badges, arrows, try-its or other awards for most levels of scouting. Naturalist-led sessions are scheduled on a first-registered, first-choice basis. Visit www.aswp.org for a list of badge offerings. Your troop can also participate in ASWP’s Planet Party, conservation work throughout the reserve scheduled from noon—1:00 pm or 3:00 pm—4:00 pm. 

$6 per person—payment is due at time of registration.  Registration opens March 1.


Insect Study Merit Badge/Wildlife (Insect Focus) Workshop

Insect Study Merit Badge and Wildlife (Insect Focus) Interest Projects are fun, easy, and can be earned in one day.  This program is designed for Eagle Scout candidates and Cadette/Senior Girl Scouts.
