Outdoor Adventure!

BFNR- Sunday, August 19, 2:00 pm—4:00 pm

SC- Sunday, August 12, 2:00 pm—4:00 pm

You say you don’t own outdoor gear?  Then come for a hike that outfits you as you go! We will sojourn to one of our tree copses to make a walking stick (out of sustainable wood like birch). Then we will hike to a clearing and turn the end of our walking sticks into a whistle, attach a lanyard, and inlay a small compass. Our sticks can be used to find the height of any tall object as well as tell time and seasons. At the end of our hike you will take home a multiuse, field-made tool to use on your next outdoor adventure.
