ASWP's educational mission is supported by a number of different sources, including wild birdseed sales, education program fees and Audubon Nature Store sales. However, ASWP could not fulfill its mission without support from its annual gifts and membership programs. These programs include Friends of Audubon (family and individual membership), Corporate Partners in Education (corporate membership) and Garden Clubs (club and group membership). Please consider supporting ASWP's educational mission through an ASWP membership program.

A word for members of the National Audubon Society (NAS): We welcome your membership. However, many NAS members are not aware of the relationship of NAS to the local chapter, such as ASWP. Financially, your annual NAS dues go primarily to the national office. A small portion, $2.75 per year, goes to the local chapter, in this case, ASWP. If you would like to support ASWP’s mission directly, we encourage you to consider a Friends of Audubon (local) membership. Many members join both, so that their contributions can help address both local and national goals.

Advantages for Corporate Partners in Education

Supporting environmental education . . . producing environmentally responsible citizens.
Not only will you help to underwrite the hundreds of environmental education programs at Beechwood Farms Nature Reserve each year, but you will also help to create environmentally responsible and knowledgeable citizens for today and tomorrow. More than 13,000 people of all ages participated in our programs, activities and events last year. Many more visit Beechwood for informal activities, such as walking our six miles of trails or visiting the Audubon Nature Store.

Sharing in the Audubon name and reputation.
When you become a corporate partner, you join forces with a widely respected organization that has advanced the cause of environmental education for a century. The Audubon Society name is recognized around the country and world for its contribution to a better environment and an environmentally informed populace.

The company you keep.
As a corporate partner, your name is included among and associated with those of major corporations and local businesses who invest in the well being of our world through their support of environmental education. Corporate members’ names are listed in our quarterly newsletter, the Bulletin.

The truest form of advocacy.
As a supporter of environmental education, your name is not connected with potentially controversial environmental advocacy issues or activities. Rather, you share in the Audubon conviction that education is the most effective and enduring form of environmental advocacy because it imparts both the understanding and values needed to foster better stewardship of the natural world.
