Join ASWP, River to Land Stewards, and Three Rivers Waterkeeper, this Thursday, October 8, from 5pm to dusk, for a unique birding experience. We will meet at James Sharp Landing in Sharpsburg and boat out to the soon to be reopened Six Mile Island. We will learn about the multi-year project to clean up and restore the habitat of the island, while exploring what birds might use it year round and during migration. Bring your own binoculars, or loaner binoculars will be provided. Registration is required, as there is a limited number of spots left in registration.
